The UNSW Foundation Year program is recognised by the following universities as meeting, or partially meeting, their entry requirements to undergraduate programs.

It should be noted that some universities may only consider applications on a case-by-case basis and that there may also be additional requirements, quotas or specific subject requirements for certain programs. Evidence of proficiency in the English language is required by all the universities and in particular TOEFL is required by most North American universities; many United States of America universities require SAT l and/or SAT ll.

  United States of America

Many universities consider UNSW Foundation Year results as part of their requirements. The universities recognise our program as the equivalent of an American High School Diploma.

International students, like all local students interested in applying for a place in an American university, will still need to sit for SAT I and possibly SAT II.

Students must also meet English language requirements, which in most cases means taking a TOEFL test.

Students intending to study in the United States should seek advice regarding the application procedure and entry requirements directly from the International Office of the university they wish to attend.
