If you are a permanent resident of Australia or an Australian citizen who has completed most of your schooling outside Australia, you will be considered for entry to UNSW Foundation Studies. You may then proceed to undergraduate studies in either a Commonwealth Supported Place (formerly known as HECS place) or an Australian Fee-Paying place. You are not eligible to apply for an undergraduate International Fee-Paying place.

  Places at UNSW

Grades for entry to undergraduate programs at UNSW are determined by the Universities Admission Centre (UAC) at the time of each intake, and are dependent on the availability of places. In some popular programs it may be that no Commonwealth Supported Places or Australian Fee-Paying Places remain for July entry because of the demand at March enrolment.

  Places at other Universities

UNSW Foundation Studies will assist students to apply for other universities. Some universities do not offer Commonwealth Supported Places to Australian students from any foundation programs. Also, not all universities are currently offering Australian Fee-Paying Places to Australian students.
